Lynden Farmers Market

This afternoon I had the pleasure of stopping off at the Lynden Farmers Market.  It’s held on the corner of Front Street and 4th in the tiny parking lot there next to the public restrooms.  There were about a dozen booths.  Here’s a rundown of what they had.

  • About 6 had vegetables, berries, and various produce including at least one with certified organic veggies.
  • 1 with wooden toys and stainless jewelry
  • 1 with soaps
  • 1 with essential oils
  • 1 with berries
  • 1 with crafts centered around bees
  • 1 with crafts and sheepskins (they start at $100 for a small one)

The produce I got was awesome, so I can’t say enough about it.  There was a sno-cone vendor on the corner in front of the restrooms (for the kids) and Jo Fish seafood is right next door (I recommend the cod tacos with a side of sweet potato fries).

The Lynden Farmers Market is every Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm.
